Since then I've been on Aldera two more times, had 7 acid treatments, and 3 cryo's. They still havn't gone away! What other treatment is effective?!

Will low-risk and high-risk HPV transmit the same in the next person?

For instance, if a person performs oral sex on a woman with low-risk HPV (Genital Warts), will he develop warts around his mouth or just his genitals or any at all?

Or if a woman with high-risk HPV (cancer-causing) transmits it to someone else will this person, too, have high-risk HPV and could potentially develop cancer?

HPV genital wart treatment options and scarring?

April 30, 2009 by admin · 1 Comment

I want to get a wart on my penis removed with minimal scarring. The doctor I went to today wanted to put acid on it, but I've heard of laser treatment. This doctor says he doesn't use laser, because it's too expensive. Money is no object to me when it comes to trying not to have a scarred penis… So I want a second opinion. I also know they can freeze a wart off, but that also leaves a scar. What is the best method? And is there anything a plasic surgeon can do to minimize the scar if I do get one? Thank you.
