  8. Candlebab on April 13th, 2009 11:01 pm

It doesnt matter how safe you are, you can til get them. If you touch your own genitals, then touch someone else you can get it. Some crazy statistic is that 40% of British sexually active people have it. Condoms dont stop every infection sadly.

  9. Candlebab on April 13th, 2009 11:04 pm

There is no cure but your body generally will build a imunity to it and clear you within about 4 years or so. They don’t stay on you forever, you use a cream for a few of days and the disappear. Ur more than likely to get them when your un down or stressed. So stay happy! But seriously, dont worry too much, its not the end of the world. Use a condom and avoid touching yourself then touching the other person as simple contact like that can pass it on. Its not always through unprotected sex.

This might be a really stupid question, but if you’ve developed immunity to the type of warts a person gets on the finger or feet, does it give you some protection from developing warts in that area?

    “Genatle warts are harmless”

Accept to your social life, sex life, and any other kind of life you might want to have

    but seriously, they’re totally harmless

  22. cushion93 on April 26th, 2009 9:02 pm

Most (90%) HPV infections clear within 1 to 2 years after infection. There is debate on whether the body eradicates the virus completely from your body or stays in it at undetectable levels where even a DNA test would not be able to find it. The current data is that at least 85% of sexually active adults will have a genital HPV infection in their lifetimes. Far less then 1% ever turn into cancer.
