HPV: Genital Warts, please read?

Okay so my question is, that I forgot to ask the doctor. They told me that since I am male, that i've got Genital Warts, it's a low risk. They froze them, they stayed there, like a scar. But like 4-6 months later, more came. I havn't gone yet, but they told me it wouldn't be a big deal. That my immune system would clear the warts up on their own, that 90% clear up in about 2 yrs. I havn't been sexually active for quite some time. Does keeping myself away from someone cause the warts to disappear after awhile? Is masturbation out of the question? Lol.
I'm not stupid, i'm not even planning on being sexually active with anyone for a really long time. I know chances are, i'm going to have it for the rest of my life. Condoms reduce the risk of transmitting them though, my question is though do i sustain from masturbation as well?
Don't listen to Jessi, obviously don't know what it's like living with an STD, btw, I had unprotected sex with someone I trusted, I knew him for 5 years beforehand, and he didn't tell me and that's how I have genital herpes. I also know a man that has genital warts and he tells women up front and some are still interested. Since I was diagnosed I tell guys up front, and some are still interested, so don't let ignorant people bring you down.
