hpv genital warts question?

I have bene with my boyfriend for a while now. I recently had a pap that came out abnormal and it's HPV, I don't have an external visible outbreak. Will my boyfriend get visible Genital Warts

He definitely already have HPV, so it is really possible that he can get visible warts, but at the same time maybe his body will get rid of them by developing immunity to them. This may take from a few months to a few years! So the chance of visible warts is relatively small….
