HPV pregnancy, pap smears?

So a while back they diagnosed me with HPV (Genital Warts) i've only had one outbreak (knock on wood) and ever since then no sign no nothing. well my doctor did a pap smear a few weeks ago and called me back with my results and said everything is fine, mind you this is not the doctor that did my pap test before nor i didnt think to mention it to her that they diagnosed me with HPV previously. why is this? someone please help. Mind you im 16 weeks pregnant =)
some times on pap smears they only check for normal or abnormal cancer cells and some times if they don't get enough tissue the doctor have to check on your lab requisition to be check for hpv some doctors do this automatically some doctors don't But if the doctor that did your pap smear new that you where pregnant she or he should have check for this, you should tell them to have you recheck and let them know you where positive for hpv especially if you are pregnant.
