Is it safe to have sex if my partner and I both have Genital warts?

April 27, 2009 by admin

I was recently diagnosed with HPV (Genital Warts) I’ve been with my partner for about 4 months now, and he has been exposed to it, showing no signs of the virus there is no way for us to know for sure. But most people say he probably has the virus and can pass it on. My question is, is it safe for us to have unprotected sex, since we plan on being monogamous and we have talked about the risks of having sex still and the chances of him still having the virus. Also what would be the downfall of having unprotected sex with the virus?
I am in the process of getting the vaccine, my doctor says the strain of HPV I have will NOT by any means cause cervical cancer.
I know that there is a chance he doesn't have it, but that's what I'm saying that we have talked about it and he knows even if we use a condom he could get it. I just want to know that the other health problems that could occur if we both have it and are having sex.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the U.S. HPV is primarily transmitted by sexual contact. While some people develop warts in the genital region after infection, others experience no symptoms. From my experince wartrol is by far the best treatment for genital warts. it doesnt only remove the warts it also help your immune system to kickoff the virus. you can learn more infor here: http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=830371
