Global Fund Executive Director Kazatchkine Discusses Funding Shortfall, Harm Reduction Programs

Michel Kazatchkine — executive director of the Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria — on Monday at the opening of the Harm Reduction 2009 conference in Bangkok, Thailand, discussed the Global Fund’s budget shortfall and efforts to curb the spread of HIV among injection drug users, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports.
