The Benefits of Glutathione Therapy

Anyone living with Parkinson’s disease knows that there are good and bad days.  For days when there are challenges, a new treatment, one that is relatively affordable, effective, and safe has been discovered.

Not only is this a safe solution for treating Parkinson’s disease, it is also highly effective.  This means people with this disease have a fighting chance for normalcy.  While it does not cure the disease, IV Glutathione therapy does slow down the progression.

Of people who have gone through Glutathione therapy, as much as 90% have experienced dramatic changes. What happens with this particular disease is that dopamine receptors lose their sensitivity.

However, by using this particular type of treatment, the brain’s dopamine begins to function more normally, which improves levels of sensitivity.  Additionally, studies also show that serotonin levels within the brain are also brought back to a normal range, which alleviates problems of depression.

For people who use Glutathione therapy, 1,400 milligrams daily with saline is typical.  In most cases, patients would be provided with an IV drip three times a week for ten minutes each session.  This way, the medication can get into the bloodstream slowly and effectively.

There are also other forms of Glutathione to include supplements and liquid but for Parkinson’s disease, IV Glutathione is the only method that works.  In addition, some doctors prefer to add in various types of amino acids and milk thistle to make the treatment even more effective.

One of the greatest breakthroughs associated with IV Glutathione therapy is that medication used for treating Parkinson’s disease such as Levodopa that has a number of side effects, can often be decreased or eliminated altogether. Of course, no patient should stop taking prescribed medication unless directed by the treating doctor but with Glutathione therapy, studies show that this is a real possibility.

Another huge benefit of using IV Glutathione therapy is that there are no major side effects. Unlike many medications, this means that serious problems such as heart attack and stroke are gone. Then, the affordability of Glutathione therapy has many people excited.

Although the cost of Glutathione therapy is a little higher than other options, it works exceptionally well.  The good news is that most insurance companies are now providing partial or full coverage of this substance because it has been approved by the FDA.

Once a patient with Parkinson’s disease starts on IV Glutathione therapy provided they respond to the treatment, they would be on it for life but considering that it allows them to regain some normalcy, it is a small sacrifice to make. As an FDA approved product, doctors and patients are getting very excited about the many advances provided by Glutathione therapy. While Parkinson’s disease is the primary target for using IV Glutathione therapy, this treatment has also shown promise for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and other illnesses.

People who have Parkinson’s disease or any other medical condition now have a new and exciting treatment option.  With Glutathione therapy, relief is imminent.  Because the results have been so astounding, this is quickly becoming a mainstream treatment options accepted by the medical community.
