How can a man get tested for hpv (genital warts) with no symptoms, and has been tested for std’s?

he has been tested for std's and says that the q-tip test says that he doesnt have anything…what should i suggest? please provide me with websites and documents to support your answer if you can

    There is no test to detect HPV in men.

    Men usually find out they have HPV by developing warts from it. But, it can take several months and even years to develop warts. And, some people never develop warts from their HPV.

    That is why HPV is so common. Since there really are no signs or symptoms and there are no tests for men, a lot of people end up spreading it around unknowingly.
