HPV is only detected in a cervical smear. Genital warts via a swab of the infectious area (ie vagina). Urinary analysis cannot detect ANY STD’s – urinary analysis detects Urinary tract infections, diabetes, Kidney damage indicators, metabolites etc. STD’s are detected through blood (ie.HIV, Hepatitis) & swab (ie gonorrhea). HPV isn’t normally included in a STD panel due to its high prevalence in the community and because its only link to a disease states is cervical cancer which can be picked up during cervical cancer screening (pap smear). I would seriously see another doctor.
